On Wednesday October 12, 2022, Ascencia Business School organized its Kick Off in a mythical place full of history: the Hippodrome de Paris – Vincennes. The opportunity for all M1 and M2 students to meet and get to know each other.
Nearly 1000 students attended this traditional back-to-school event on Wednesday afternoon. Learners, tutors and teams from the 4 campuses were invited.
Moderated by Fabrice Vigreux, Director of Strategic Development at the Collège de Paris, the conference was rich in interventions. After welcoming the students, Fabrice invited Sarah Triki, Director of the Saint-Quentin en Yvelines site to come on stage. We then watched a video of the President Olivier de Lagarde, who was travelling abroad at that time, in which Ascencia’s ambitions, international opening and values were discussed.
We then had the pleasure of welcoming speakers with exceptional backgrounds: Julienne Nadin Founder and CEO of The Genius Institute and Joseph Choueifaty, Co-Founder and CEO of the startup Goodvest. Julienne talked about her decision to move to Brazil, the cultural differences she encountered from a professional point of view, and gave the students tips on how to network abroad. Joseph talked about his journey, the process of creating a company but also the steps to create a committed company.
We also gave the floor to two alumni Abdeslam and Quentin who gave an interesting feedback.
The conference ended with the intervention of the famous animator and videographer Fabien Olicard who revealed to the learners in a playful and instructive way the secrets of the brain by making them aware of their real abilities. All these contributions contributed to the success of this event.
After collecting their goodies and sweatshirts, students were invited to go outside to enjoy the pancake and waffle stands set up in front of the largest LED screen in Europe lit up with Ascencia colors. The day ended with music played by a DJ and a beautiful sunset.
This event allowed our students to leave with pockets full of advice, recommendations and positive messages to start the new year!
